This property is located nearby the city of San Minato, a nice, ancient and well-preserved medieval town in the heart of Tuscany.

The first documented information on the manor house traces back to 1534, and it dates the estate in this period. During the 18th century many restaurations transformed the villa in the shape we still see today. For a period the estate was property of the family Buonaparte, originary from S. Miniato and related to Napoleon, and it seems the before becoming the Emperor we all studied, Napoleon slept here while waiting to obtain the documents that would have allowed him to enter the military career.

At the same era dates back the farming of the vineyards and olive groves, that later was renowed with more innovative techniques of farming by the new owner Cosimo Ridolfi, the founder of new agronomy and of the Accademia dei Georgofili.

The villa was recently restored preserving the harmony with the original style, thus offering a wonderful staying for you and your guests.
